Our audit approach depends on having a thorough understanding of the client’s business to determine the most efficient audit strategy and contribute constructive suggestions arising from the audit work. We always seek to be in contact with the management on a regular basis in order to achieve this.
In carrying out an audit assignment, we determine an appropriate audit strategy in the form of a written plan, among which the most important elements would be:
- A detailed audit timetable agreed with the client to meet their deadlines;
- A preliminary review of areas to which the greatest accounting risk is likely to attach and our response thereto; and
- A regular assessment of the management controls and accounting disciplines in operation, to ensure that the high levels of efficiency are continuously attained.
